This wine is always familiar, nostalgic, and almost traditional within our lineup. The 2019 starts with a nose of dark red fruits: stewed cranberries and Ollalieberry, nestled within the panels of an old cigar box. Strong aromas of the surrounding landscape come through, predominantly manzanita and bay laurel. The palate is deep and lush with dark chocolate black cherry notes at the forefront. Bay laurel is also present with a touch of pink peppercorns. The tannins are mellowed and plush, simple and supple.
